“I had the opportunity to go to DFW ACE Academy as a junior and senior in high school in 2018 and 2019. I learned a lot from the Aviation program from Irving High School, but DFW ACE Academy connected me on such a deeper level. For 5 days straight, I was immersed through classes, meet-and-greets, exhibitions, and more about the aviation industry. By the end of camp, I knew 1) I was not made to fly planes and 2) I was stocked about the many systems and jobs the Aviation Industry had! I started investigating what I could do in the future, and with the support of Greg, Quentin, and Christine, I realized that I wanted to attend the Air Force Academy to study Aeronautical Engineering. Thanks to DFW ACE Academy, I’m now a 2nd Lieutenant for the Air Force working for the T7-A Red Hawk division at Wright-Patterson AFB. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for the commitment of DFW ACE Academy to support young people like me to accomplish their aviation goals.
